Patients come to us when they’re ambulatory and require intensive substance abuse treatment but not hospitalization or residential meth addiction treatment, both of which provide 24-hour care.
We welcome patients as they step down from inpatient meth rehab and are ready for an intensive outpatient program. In the vernacular of the field, as defined by the American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM), this means those patients evaluated at a 2.1 or 2.5 level of care. A 2.1 level of care offers intensive outpatient services for 9-20 hours of weekly treatment. A 2.5 level of care equates to partial hospitalization, with 20+ hours of therapy weekly but not 24-hour care.
